My husband received an Omega Seamaster Quartz Watch for his 60th birthday - he is coming up to his 66th and the battery has just failed. He has made enquiries and if it is sent back to Omega for the battery to be changed and resealed it will be guaranteed for only 1 year. Has anybody had this done and if so do the new batteries only last for 1 year or is it the service. The chare for this is more than £70.
Any comments regarding this would be greatfully received.
